Craig Simon is an experienced and accomplished professional musician who has been in the business since the age of sixteen. On literally thousands of tour shows, he has shared the stage with such popular and influential artists as Fleetwood Mac, Bad Company, Bela Fleck and The Flecktones,
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Shelby Lynn, The Outlaws, Vince Gill, and many other classic rock and country acts; his nationwide road-gig calendar typically runs to 200 to 250 shows a year.
Craig has been a session musician on over 100 records for various artists throughout the country playing guitar ,banjo ,piano, mandolin and singing harmony. He previously worked as a staff songwriter for Sony Music in nashville, and as a studio musician for Rotation Records (based in Nashville, Tennessee also).
Since 2003 Craig has been a member of "Tom Gillams Tractor Pull", now based in Austin Texas. Tom and Craig, friends since childhood have played together in various bands for the past few decades. In addition to recording and touring with Tom, Craig has written several songs for the band including the title track to Tom's 2007 release "Never look back".
In the last 16 months, Craig has produced two records for the rock band "Stone Baby". Along with the touring and sessions Craig is recording tracks for his fourth solo album and playing various shows with Fran Smith jr.
