There are no band members in my solo guitar pieces, and with exception of drums all parts are played by myself.

There are thousands of influences, no one person or style.
Sounds Like
I would hope that my playing does not sound like anyone in particular, and that it sounds original to some extent. As a musical artist, it is the intention to develope one's own sound. However, being we are made of the influences we have experienced, it is almost impossible to avoid the styles of others creeping into your work. I have however tried not to copy any other players style or actual pieces they have played.

I have played the guitar for almost my entire lifetime as a full time profession. The instrument is the band, as once said by the composer Beethoven... the guitar is a miniature orchestra in itself. In my recordings I try to demonstrate that the guitar is a solo instrument also, not only a player, or just a part of a band, but in essence, "The Band". There is a place for allstyles of guitar artistry, including rhythm and lead playing, as are often the two ways the instrument is approached. However, the guitar can be more than just a player with others... it can be the whole thing.
