I have been performing professionally for over ten years, primarily as a soloist but also more recently with my band at festivals.
I have now performed well over 1000 shows, and am not planning on slowing down in the near future.
Over the years I recorded two albums (Spirit of Australia 2005 & Bellbirds & Blackboys 2007), established a five piece show band, written a heap of original material and appeared at numerous festivals throughout the country, including Tamworth, Mildura, Gympie and Norfolk Island.
The best part is that even after over ten years of performing, I do believe my musical journey is just beginning. I would like to thank Maton Guitars for their endorsement, the CMAA for all their assistance, my wife Ruth for her undying support & all the fans I have met over the years who have shown their belief in what I am trying to achieve musically.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to leave a message - there are some songs here I have uploaded off the new album, including a full version of 'Ten Years In Cockatoo'. I also have a website however will be mainly using Myspace at this time to let everyone know what I'm up to. That said, if you go the website www.craigstewart.com.au there is still plenty of information there, including lyrics, the stories behind my songs, links to purchase my first album, photos, etc.
Either live or via the CD/radio/download section, I am sure we will be crossing musical paths shortly. For that let me say welcome, and thank you.
Yours in music, Craig Stewart

Brother man good to hear from you, it really is a small world, awesome to renew friendships! Things here are in top gear and life is in a good place. Looks like your doing great as well, so good to see. Keep in touch my bro and keep them cool sounds pumping.
Hope all is well with you and your family. Well do you make of the Dragons season so far? Impressive?? Well they have to keep it up but hopefully it will end the 30 year drought this year but I'm not saying too much until after they hoist that cup come October. As a fellow long suffering supporter you know that too many times its all ended in tears.
Hope to catch you somewhere soon, when will you be updating the gig guide..
My dear son and his naughty band have released a fitting tribute to the end of George Bush's reign of terror with their animated filmclip George Bush's Chicken. Starring George W at home on the ranch with his muslem chicken Ned as well as guest appearances from some of his closest circle including Osama Bin Laden, Paris Hilton, Saddam Hussein, Barack Obama and Mr Ed, this is the behind the scenes insight the world has long waited for. I hope you enjoy it and are inspired to forward it to all your other friends in the last days of W’s war n terror. Hey mate! Long time no see. Hope all is well with you and the family. Any plans of heading up to sunny Queensland any time soon? It will be good to catch up with you all.
HI Craig, thanx for your gracious words. yeah,a lass in Moree (not that far from Qld. border),who was from around Warialda/Inverell/Glen Innes, asked me if I'd heard of Graeme.I said I had. But when she gave him that rap I decided I would pay attention next time he was on tv/radio. He sang Reach Up,Reach Out at the Sydney 2000 ParaLympics. I like North (I move a little further north each year...) single. I gather he is a good mate of Troy's,too(?). I can easily imagine that I am leaning against a post in a paddock somewhere in the outback, and taking in the 'bush', hearing you sing. You look and sound "the part". Maybe all you've been missing so far is a bit more exposure.Which is,hopefully, what this here is all about. Once again, taah,Peatie.
