Craine formed in April 2006 in their hometown of Sheffield. After building a loyal Yorkshire fanbase the boys supported Rooster on their UK Tour in late 2006. This was followed by the band's growing myspace fanbase snapping up all 3,000 ltd copies of debut EP 'Treehouse Sessions' in 2 weeks flat.
Gigs in 2007 took them further a field to different corners of the UK as the band generated label interest. In February 2008 with label interest gathering pace, the band parted company with original drummer Jordan Osborn. With only a week before their label showcase jamming started with replacement Tom Stebbing who instantly fitted in with the band's sound. Tom played the showcase and after an array of interest the band confirmed they had signed to Halo Records.
The band released debut single 'End of the Line' in June 2008, (on download and limited edition CD) which entered at No 7 on the Radio 1 Official Indie Chart. The release was supported by a string of successful UK tour dates.
After taking time out to record CRAINE's limited single release 'Divine Intervention' reached No67 in the UK Official Chart in April 2009.
Debut album 'Sleeping Vixen' followed that month and is still selling strong now as we're in Summer 2009.

CRAINE will release the anthemic 'Broken Strings' on all major download from July 27th 2009. The video for the track is been shot early June and the theme, which is currently top secret will be revealed shortly.
Heya guys - ooh, I see you're off to Malta! If you've never been, try and get to the Blue Lagoon. It's lovely there! I even went on a 'pirate tour' on a speedboat. I know - was the oddest thing ever! You should try and get on the list for the Hop Farm Festival, I'm kinda working it (for a weekend pass!), I think they're still looking for acts :)

Sendig ALL my love! I miss i.m. chats with my boyz~ i need 2 get back on f. b. but it's hard 2 type with one hand. The cast/sling should be coming off in a month or so :-) but will be a while b-4 my right arm is better~a year at least. ;p
