Based in New York, Craving Strange was formed in 2008 and consists of 4 musicians, combining personal and musical backgrounds in metal, pop, rock, indie, and alternative to create a new yet familiar sound.
Craving Strange has developed a unique style and sound that has immediately set them in a class by themselves. Taking no shortcuts the band spent the better part of a year self-recording and producing their first album Savior Self. The 11 song masterpiece explodes with amazing musicianship and well written, memorable, hook heavy songs that never lose heart or resort to tired clichés.
Live, Craving Strange is intense and emotional, transcending age groups and musical tastes. A can’t take your eyes off them roller-coaster they take you from high to low, 0-60 and back again - all while infecting you with the good time they’re having on stage. Already packing the areas best venues and hitting the road their shows have captivated a variety of different audiences throughout the east coast, earning the band a reputation as a must see attraction. This has generated a growing legion of dedicated fans (the Strangers) that scream, shout, and sing along turning every show into a memorable and exciting experience.
Within one year, Craving Strange has performed clubs all over the Northeast and Midwest. With 3 home recorded promotional Ep’s getting rave reviews the band recorded, produced, and released the full length album ‘Savior Self’ in the summer of 09. With digital distribution through CD Baby, iTunes, and Amazon among others and a growing list of independent radio and podcasts supporting the album the band is developing a “global presence” that is growing every day.

awww...thank you right back! All of you were so awesome! I love each and every one of you so much! It was an amazing experience from start to finish. My only real complaint is that the humidity and sweating really fucked up my hair and I lost my hairband!!!
I love the video I took...well, the audio is fantastic, but I didn't have the greatest camera angle and it got bumped a little far to the right. It seriously lacks Balls and Jimi! Once you guys started playing I forgot I was taping it. But I got some great pics that'll I'll try to get posted later today. I'm still sleeping off that Jager you made me drink
