Transcending the pop sounds and monotone commercialism the music industry has become, comes a style of music sure to leave its listener craving for more. The Craving is a compilation of the talents of four friends who passionately share a style of popular rock music with a unique edge. Most listeners say the band has its own style, but draws on the influences and sounds of Coldplay, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer. The band's beginnings spawned with eclectic singer/songwriter and front man, Brian Bingham, and a couple of friends. Then through association, Brian met a gifted songwriter/lead guitarist by the name of Steve Phillips who has been dubbed "the glue", and many feel is the motivation, desire, and flavor of The Craving. Through subsequent line-up changes, they came upon Joe Irvin, one of the most amazing drummers of this generation. Through his talent and personality, he adequately shows what it is to give 110%. You ask Joe for greatness and he will give you perfection, all the while making it look like a simple expression. Enter Kevan Anderson, the final piece of the formula. His driving and creative bass lines will make even the most apathetic listener begin to groove. Kevan’s complimenting vocals and upbeat attitude keep everyone smiling while experiencing this infectious music. Through the crucible of developing style, each member has added elements to what The Craving has become.
As you experience our sound you will know that this will be one of the truly great bands of this generation. “Upon the shoulders of giants, we reach for greatness.”

Great job last night guys. It was such a blast. We loved your set. Love the covers, a little Petty and Beatles action, oh yeah. We give Steve mad, mad props, he is a trooper.
Kick ass! You guys sounded amazing last night! We loved the covers, they were spot on. Not quite sure how Steve pulled it off, but he brought it just like he always does, you would never know he was sick. Thanks for helping us to have a great and memorable CD release.

You guys suck! The only one with any talent in your crappy band is that one piano chick you auditioned, thought was hot, but she couldn't jam, and didn't really seem to want to do it anyway. Yah! How 'bout that? Merry Christmas!
