Born in the city of San Francisco, Ca. Marcus Crawford has had the privilege and opportunity to grow as one of the best producers/musicians in the state. From the start of his childhood life he has always had the desire and talent to set forth goals musically and accomplish them all.
At the young age of 9 years old, Marcus started playing the drums at his home church in the city of San Francisco, Ca. After a few years of practicing and praying, he became more and more skilled in what he did as a musician.
Marcus then at his teen age stage began the interest in the organ and piano. He would practice every chance he could at church and any location that would allow him. Even though all he knew was a few chords to play. Seeing the talent and anointing in her son, his mother, a little later, purchased a piano for him to practice on at home even though she could not afford it at the time.
Marcus learned his very first song “Speak To My Heart” (recorded by Donnie McClurkin) at the age of 18. From there the musical juices just continued to flow. Mr. Marcus Crawford has written, arranged music and vocals, produced and managed for various artists in the Bay Area.
He was the Producer and Music Director for the gospel trio The Boyd Sisters, he has played for artists such as Kim Burrell, Robin Hodge-Williams, FIJI, Gerald Levert, Tachina Danielle, Eugene Cole, Demetrius Tolfree and Kelly Price. Marcus has succeeded and accomplished all he has set forth to do, and the train doesn’t stop there.
Mr Marcus Crawford is now workin with the very very talneted miss (KENYA BOYD) be on the look out for that album very very soon!!!!!
