About me: Courtney lost her 2 year battle with cancer May 14, 2006...She was only 15 years old. In June 2004 she was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor. The medical term is an Anaplastic Astrocytoma of the cervical spine. It was a very rare form of cancer being that it grew within her spinal cord...so it was very hard to treat. This site along with www.CaringForCourtney.com will remain as a constent reminder of the love and hope she gave to so many people.

That I had to go away
