YES, have some! From opera to speed metal, I just love music. I loved music so much that I married it. I spent 5 years prostrate to the higher mind of music, got my paper and I will never be free. My biggest influences will always be the hearts souls of the musicians, poets and artists that I meet in daily life. I love it when people share the music they love with me and especially when an artist shares his/her own music with me.
Movies
I own over 600 DVDs, so it is hard to say. I quote them all the time as you might notice in my answers. If you have seen Harold and Maude, Amile, Chocolate, The Birdcage, Pricilla Queen of the Desert and Arsenic and Old Lace then you might have an advantage when trying to understand me. Especially if you add it to Joe Vs the Volcano, Muppet Treasure Island and the Princess Bride.
Television
I pretty much love any of the HBO series. Rome, Sopranos, Robot Chicken, Boston Legal, Dr. Who, Mythbusters, Battlestar Galactica, Greg the Bunny and Fraggle Rock.
Books
I read constantly. Usually 2 or 3 books at a time. I am an artist, so often I listen to books while I paint. I am a big fan of Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman and the late, great Douglas Adams.
Heroes
Dan Milano (Greg the Bunny), Eleanor Roosevelt, Jim Henson, Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo DaVinci, Dave Goels/Gonzo the Great, Dr. Pepperberg/Alex the parrot, the Dalai Lama, Chadtastic and Morpheus my wonder parrot.
Your soul is painted the color blue, which embodies the characteristics of peace, patience, understanding, health, tranquility, protection, spiritual awareness, unity, harmony, calmness, coolness, confidence, dependability, loyalty, idealism, tackiness, and wisdom. Blue is the color of the element Water, and is symbolic of the ocean, sleep, twilight, and the sky.

I am a goofy artist/poet/writer/musician who collects kitchy pink elephants and puppets. I believe in infinite love and tend to jump into life feet first. I have been told that I am shaped like a brick house and a bombshell, but I never really saw what was attractive about either of these things. I can be intellectual and even profound, but I find that I am happiest when I get to be silly. I love the energy of the a bright moon or a windy day. I like to sing next to a fire. I appreciate a good belly laugh and enjoy a nice pun. I have friends in all shapes, sizes and from all over the world. I love loving them all.
Who I'd like to meet: Men in kilts. Old men, young men, Japanese men- I just loves me some men in kilts.

Wow chica - now that's a cat woman people will REMEMBER!! You are TOO HOT! *lol* How are you? We should call sometime, coordinate a Ft. Worth visit or something! It'd be great to catch up and laugh. Well, take care of yourself and tell your hubby I said hi!
INSIDE STAGE Raina Rose Who better to start the night than a strong and very talented woman! She told me that when she got my call for artists and read Shannon's work she was honored to be included. We are equally as honored to have her.

Billy Dave Wammo Wammo, of the Asylum Street Spankers and former member of several Austin Poetry Slam teams, is bringing his country band into our midst. The quirky rocker has been an important part of both Austin music and Austin poetry and we love him, yes we do.

Gary Graves One of Austin's best kept secrets, Gary Graves can only be described in my mind in this way: THAT MAN HAS DUENDE! www. myspace. com/garygravesmusic
Shane Bartell Make or break, still one of my favorite Austin musicians and best friends. He'd say he's writing folky pop music, and what's wrong with that. I'd say he takes lounge music to a campfire and makes everyone love it. Decide for yourself.

The Oliver Steck Show The man, the legend, the absolute hilarity! Oliver has graced more large stages than he or I can count. I believe he appeared no less than three times on the Kerrville mainstage. Among the instruments he has mastered are trumpet, accordion. However, more often than not, he's being invited up on stage with others. This time, he'll be doing the inviting.
OUTSIDE STAGE Peter Nevland As we affectionately call him in the Austin Slam community, PITA! has taken his poems to a new level by turning them musical. He and his brother will be showing everyone else how i
