I had the unpleasant revelation not too long ago that my favorite music (the stuff that formed my taste in the late 1990s) is now called Classic Alternative. Poe, Garbage, Annie Lennox, Barenaked Ladies, U2, Fiona Apple, Hole, Republica. Also, I recently fell in love with The Ditty Bops.

| | Movies | My current favorites list is Moulin Rouge, Kama Sutra, and Love & Sex (mmmm, Jon Favreau.) And I love horror movies. Anything with a vampire is good. Comedies are along the lines of Napoleon Dynamite, Office Space, and Harold & Kumar go to White Castle (have you listened to the commentary track? It's almost better to than the movie!) I recently bought Fight Club after 5 or so years of saying, "I really like Fight Club. Why don't I own that?"
I have to really like a movie to buy it. These are a few I own... Better Than Chocolate, Kissing Jessica Stein, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Clan of the Cave Bear, Two Girls and a Guy, Swingers (Jon Favrau again...MMMM,) O Brother Where Art Thou?, Render (Ani DiFranco DVD,) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Rocky Horror Picture Show, American Beauty, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and Gia. Okay, those are pretty much all the films I own. | | Television | CSI, Lost, Weeds, Sopranos. | | Books | I love the diaries of Anais Nin. And my favorite novels are The Mummy and the Mayfair Witch Trilogy; both by Anne Rice. | | Heroes |
