I am easy-going, love to laugh. My friends will tell you that I am a crazy, silly person with an infectious, unique laugh. I have a Social Work degree from Anderson University but married and chose to be a stay-at-home wife and mother until my husband passed away September 15, 1995. I have one daughter,of whom I am quite proud,who graduated from Anderson University in May of 2006. I was single until October 19,2008. I married a wonderful man who makes me very happy.

Movies
Most all except scary ones or those with no redeeming value whatsoever. I LOVED Dream Girls! I've probably seen most action packed movies,comedies,dramas,martial arts, and musicals when my husband, Al, was still living. But, not as many recent ones. I especially loved these: Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Madera's Family Reunion, Chicago, Forest Gump,all the Spiderman movies, X-Men, all the Superman movies,Pay It Forward, Golden Child,The Gospel, and on and on.... :-)
Television
I didn't used to have a lot of time to watch TV but I have a tad bit more time now. I enjoy CSI Miami;CSI Las Vegas;NCIS Law and Order-SVU;Monk;Ghost Whisperer;Medium etc...when I have an extra second to sit down and watch. A lot of the ones that I used to love watching have been cancelled.
Books
I love historical romances and some mysteries. Kathleen Woodiwiss is one of my favorite authors. I haven't had time to read for pleasure for a while, though.
Heroes
I look up to my grandparents who took my parents to church and were good role models to them laying a good foundation for my having Godly parents. I look up to those who can be inspirational, moral leaders,and those willing to serve so we can be free...

Hey Marilyn! I enjoy your blogs...but I don't comment much. I just wanted to tell you that I have a wonderful hubby who is as sweet and kind as yours. After 16 and a half years, he still treats me liike a princess. However, he has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and things have been more trying of late. He also had a major heart attack in May and next week has to have a defibulator implanted in his chest. He cannot do all the things for me that he used to. But he still loves to make my coffee, rub my feet, set the alarm clock...you know those little special ways of taking care of us. I am sad that things are more difficult for him, but I treasure the precious years we have had.
