I have been working in the music business for 25 years. There are some pictures of my studio in the photo section. I was at Cherokee Recording studios for many years where I worked with and observed many of the biggest producers, engineers and stars. A highlight of my time at Cherokee was Engineering material for Tin Machine II with David Bowie and my friends Tony and Hunt Sales. As an engineer, assistant engineer, or Tech, I also worked with John Cougar, Motley Crew, Shawn Phillips, Slaughter, Ricky Lee Jones, Crosby Stills and Nash, The Broken Homes, Robert Palmer, Steve Perry and many others. I produced 2 albums while there "Beautiful Music for a Beautiful Planet" By Lovedog, and "Stay Home" by Snair. I also produced "Early in the Night" by Shawn Phillips (One of My Childhood Idols). That track was released on "The Best of Shawn Phillips" on A&M. After that I Co-Produced several albums with Moon Martin, and toured Europe with him several times. Then I worked with Christopher Franke of Tangerine Dream for several years as a music editor, Engineer, and Composers Technical Assistant. I now live in Simi Valley where I have a nice home studio. I continue to record and produce and am involved in a business venture (Rock Talk Inc. www. eslrocks. com) with my wife Jenny Redding
