Sounds LikeThe result of listening to all the above (and below) and then producing something that isn’t quite any of them... It’s not heavy metal, hip hop or disco and it doesn’t rap...but there are lots of harmonies and a catchy tune or two .........................    About Crazy Quilt Bouquet

This is just a small part of the CQB network.
Visit the main CQB web site.

Crazy Quilt Bouquet (CQB) were born in Nottingham UK in the late 90s then abandoned their hometown to take Devon by storm. It was raining heavily when they arrived.

They is actually really He and his unrealistic aim is to release his current music and entire back catalogue with massive publicity, reaching audiences worldwide to great acclaim. His alternative aim is to get heard by anyone who just might like what he does.

You will find loads of free music from CQB and his many imaginary friends via the linked sites on this page.

It's difficult to try and describe how something sounds & it's usually best to let the listener decide for themselves - but here's what a few people have said along the way:

"Summertime-Beer on the patio", "Lyrically sharp, witty and leftfield", "Melodic and catchy with a twist of lemon", "Ludicrous and intelligent", "Typically English", "Wonderfully quirky", "Skewy", "Defies categorisation really!".

Of course, you can make your own mind up - and it would be nice to know what you think.

There is a 15 track Crazy Quilt Bouquet CD called hope so. It's being sold on a not-for-profit basis for only £3 including worldwide shipping with at least
£1 from each sale going to OXFAM.

You can order hope so now from this site.

hope so is a totally independent production, delivered on a fetching high quality black CD that comes in a plastic wallet with artwork.

There's a slightly desperate, somewhat nerdy and unnecessarily needy and now out of date press release for you to peruse in the blog if you should wish to…

Track listing for hope so:
lucky / be careful what you wish for / new book / different world / war zone / ladie's man / mango lassie / e-motion / co-joined at the lips / appetite / mutt / france / ramble / change
*and an unlisted track (or two!)

All CQB's music is independently released on a do-it-yourself, access for all basis.

Crazy Quilt Bouquet are fundraising in aid of Oxfam but do not represent them. For more information about Oxfam’s work please visit www.oxfam.org.uk.

Oxfam GB is a registered charity (no 202918) & a member of Oxfam International. Oxfam works with others to find lasting solutions to poverty and suffering.

Please support CQB & OXFAM and order this CD for only £3 by clicking on the BuyNow button which will take you to a secure PayPal site. You don't need to have a PayPal account to use this service. NB. You may get a warning before entering this site, please be assured that it is safe.

Above are three songs from hope so. In addition there are two other popular songs and a short radio interview from Vibraphonic FM with Pete Bishop & Mark Armitage, which features the song Libido and snippets from a couple of others.

Recycling's a good thing to do! If you've got things to get rid of, like mobile phones, printer cartridges, computers, clothes, coins or stamps, just go to Oxfam's Recycle Scheme. Oxfam use the money they make to support work with some of the world's poorest people...Well worth the trip. Also, Freecycle is a good way to find a new home for your unwanted items.
Get rid of plastic bags. Shop the Modbury way and stop using plastic bags. They've been consigned to the bin by traders in a Devon town in a bid to be more green.

Right then. You've done that rare MySpace thang wherein I've actually listened to ALL your tracks.

But I'll have you know I only did it because they're so damn good.

I think perhaps you're on your way to being the UK's answer to JoCo. Your lyrics and tunes are that good.

Thanks for finding my space!

Nobby Stiles - fab. I've worked it out. Kept reminding me, kept reminding me - you and Dogbowl, 'cept you are english and he's an american. Check him out. You may live on seperate sides of a very large pond, but your music, lyrics and voice live on the same planet. I'm becoming a fan. So distressing. S the spacegirl.
