Nina Danger, who are you?

There are so many avenues in which people attempt to define themselves on the Internet. Trying to convey who you are via musical, literary, and cinematic tastes is like defining the Guernica by the paint Picasso used. If you talk to my friends, you'll find that I'm terribly opposed to most labels and categories because I don't feel like they can be fully representative of who you are. All that aside, I'm willing to climb into a few ill-fitting boxes for the myspace-y purpose of giving you a glimpse at who I am.

The only thing I can tell you for certain is that I'm constantly changing. Once I finish putting the final touches on this psuedo-autobiography, I'll have evolved just so slightly that the words will no longer be skin-tight, but uncomfortably baggy in some places and suffocating in others. I might be best described as a historian; I enjoy preserving bits and pieces of life that I fancy through journals and photographs, doodles and drawings, text messages and music. But I also anxiously anticipate the future: carving out my next move, making long lists of what I'd next like to experience, and rallying my best mates for grand adventures.

Things I like about myself: I am resourceful, creative, imaginative, ambitious, and hopeful.

Things I dislike about myself: I am vain, easily hurt, and oftentimes tardy.

I believe travel is essential; it doesn't matter if you take a plane or a book.
I believe one of the most subversive things you can do is love your body.
I believe that helping others requires an investment of time, not just money.

I am so blessed, so lucky, and very happy that I believe both in blessings and luck.
