Better World is 20 years in the making. In fulfilling our mission
to create a sustainable future for our children, our programs evolved to affect
their surrounding environment and systemic issues. Our focus is global, with
projects that embrace the needs of America’s at-risk urban neighborhoods, as
well as impoverished international regions.

Better World has developed youth programs in the U.S. focused on behavior
health, nutrition, physical fitness, media literacy, youth civic engagement,
media arts, violence prevention, tobacco prevention, STI/HIV/AIDS prevention,
academic enrichment, journalism, environmentalism, and cultural enrichment.
International initiatives in Africa focus on strengthening local food systems,
organic farming, regenerative health, clean water, economic development, renewable
energy and sustainable village development.
