I am Chris Nuernberger, a soon to be college graduate with a double major in Graphic Design and Public Relations. Creating Self is more than just a band name, it is a lifestyle that i have chosen to pursue. Every moment defines me and so therefore i am constantly CREATING SELF. Most of my songs come from a very personal place where i search for direction, meaning, inspiration, and strength. They reflect the thoughts that are constantly playing and whispering echos in my busy mind.
The guitar and song writing have been a way for me to remove myself from the busy and totally screwed up world. I am able to find a balance in the few hours that i can sit down and get lost in my creativity. It is a release, an expression of my true feelings and ideas that normally would go unsaid, and a cry to be heard.
I know that there are many people out there who are in the same place that i am and i hope that they can find a way to somehow connect to what i am trying to say. Basically that there is hope, love, and life waiting for us. All we need to do open up to it.
