Sounds Like
A creative cookery with a drop of alchemy and nostalgic mellotronic ingredients. A meltdown of film music & psychedelic audiophilatelies. Other describes my music as this: High quality laid back electronica with nice jazz flavours. Well mixed and high technical quality combined with some talented and tastefull artistry provides for a refreshing and comfortable listening experience. Elements of many different genres, ranging from jazz to drum'n'bass to electro to downtempo.
I use to make music since I'm 8 years old. I grew up with the legendary Amiga Commodore & learned to compose music on Oktalyzer (first 8-track music software). I also used real instruments like cheap Casio keyboards PT-1 & SK-1, plastic trumpets, feltpens (drumsticks) on pots & pillows (snare & bassdrum), dulcimer (in Switzerland known as Hackbrett), several guitars, and voice. Later on I used more pretty stuff from my older brother like Korg MS-20, Roland Juno, Theremin... The first tracks I recorded on a cheap 2-deck tape recorder (ping-pong-recording). Later I got a 4-track Tascam tape-machine (nice one). After I've seen "Yellow Submarine" on TV, I learned to play guitar, and formed a psychedelic band called "The Blossoms". We became the youngest rock 'n' roll group in town. I always wanted to compose the songs together with the band, but unfortunately that never happened. So I got back solo and wrote new, mostly instrumental, stuff (together) with my first PC (1998). I used sampling software called "FastTracker" and later "Noisetrekker". In 2001 I released my first album "Creative Cookery" (label: "Crippled Dick Hot Wax" Berlin, Germany). An EP followed in 2002 called "Choose Cheese", and a second album called "Balduin" in 2004, released on the same label. More information and prelistenings you can get on my official website. A NEW ALBUM IS IN PREPARATION!
