| About Creatures of Crystal Lake Tour |
Krampus the movie presents the "Creatures of Crystal Lake Tour", a unique horror/metal/punk tour featuring the bands First Jason and FREAK13.
First Jason is fronted by Jason himself, Ari Lehman, the actor that portrayed the first incarnation of the legendary camp killer in the 1980 classic. Playing a wild mix of metal, punk and hints of reggae the band deliver a killer set that reflect's Lehman's horror roots and takes fans on a journey to Crystal Lake.
FREAK13 are as legendary horror tv host Joe Bob Riggs said, "the only band to combine serious horror and serious metal". Based in the swamps of Texas, the band are a brutal mix of Black Sabbath, Iced Earth, Pantera, Type O Negative with a hint of Nightwish. The band are set to release a boxed set called "Legacy of Horror" that features six discs, including a live DVD through Almas Records. Their song "Crystal Lake" has become their anthem and they even got Mrs. Voorhees herself, Betsy Palmer to record a narration for it. The band have played horror conventions from coast to coast and put on an intense, entertaining horror-based set.
This tour kicks off June 29, 2007 in Beaumont, TX and will end Friday July 13 in Chicago. This will be your chance not only to see some of the leaders in the underground horror rock movemetn but meet Jason himself, Ari Lehman, as he will be doing meet and greets at every show.
Prepare yourself because the "Creatures of Crystal Lake" are coming to your town.
