Creedle, an avant-jazz-punk-art-damaged band based in San Diego, California was formed in 1992 and released three full length albums on Cargo Music/Headhunter Records in the 1990s along with numerous 7" singles. Levins aka Devon Goldberg (guitar/vocals), PieBoy aka Tim Blankenship (bass/vocals), Dr. Gein aka Dion Thurman (drums), Stretch aka Robert Walter (keyboards and samples) and Cheme aka Cochemea Gastelum (saxophone). Contributing members include Angie aka Scraps, Rob Crow, Scraps, Peeair, Pete Skinbus, Rob DeMolay and Toastmaster Heatlog aka Kyle Avise. Jeez I'm way at the bottom of your friends list. But I have something I bet that no other Creedle fan has... A copy of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "One more ..for.. From The Road" on vinyl, signed by the WTWB lineup of Creedle. If you don't remember, I said I wanted a record signed by Creedle and since WTWB wasn't coming out on vinyl, this would have to suffice. If you can't read it, it says, "Rock on! Dion" "Rock, Southern Style! Peace & Love & Skynyrd Dude. Your favorite porn star, Tim" "Keep on Smokin' Poles- Devon 11" "Rock for Christ!! ☮CG '96" Tim's is from back when rust used to stay at my friend's house on tour and we used to joke that they all looked like porn stars and that Tim looked like Buck Adams.

Here's a video of an interview I did with renowned photographer Bob Gruen last year. He talks about the early days when he was taking pictures of Ike and Tina Turner, John Lennon, the New York Dolls, the Sex Pistols and the Clash. Check it out!
