creepy aliens has, in one form or another, played roughly 50 shows in the past two years. started in november 04 in griffins basement as pat, dan, kevin, griffin, and bobby. creepy aliens went on two tours within those two years. the first tour, 'where the fuck is jon?' summer 05, lasted a week, and the second, 'anywhere but here/chris kellog loves beer', was lost in a big black hole. creepy aliens never lost any original members, but, at one point had more then it is now. tanner fox played with us one practice, phillip berretta played a show, kb pretended to be HR one show, william who hates us played a show, giggles played bass of summer 06 tour, kshow eventually joined the band, and then there were the countless dudes and detes who helped with vocals on SCHOOL. creepy aliens put out a tour demo for the first tour, and recorded a full length for the second, which was called '5 sexy butt moves'. creepy aliens was also a part of the KCDIY COMP pressed on vinyl and released on cassette kill records. creepy aliens sold around 100 copies thier full length on tour! whooo! creepy aliens has played in kirksville and st louis missouri, louisville and lexington kentucky, bloomington IN, chatanooga TN, new orleans, little rock arkansas, norman oklahoma, houston and austin TX, and of course, kansas city. creepy aliens has not broken up, but we are not playing shows, hardly in touch with each other, and will probably never write another song. im sure somewhere down the road we'll get some odd offer to play some weird pocket or the world and we'll all talk each other into doing it. creepy aliens prouder moments were playing a 13 year olds birthday party in a gravel yard, playing union station theatre to an after school improv group graduation ceremony, kc infoshop on first friday febuary 05, outside of sweet hickory records in bloominton indiana during plan it x fest, a one year olds birthday party in new orleans during summer 05, and 30 year olds birthday party in houston, and of course, to the long lost POD. creepy aliens has been proud to play with yo man go, latterman, mt gigantic, drunken boat, dave dean, the insides, happy sucky, younger hips, the get wild five, crap corps, anxiety attack, boo and boo too, big indian girl, snot rockitz, the hamburglars (RIP), and any and all others... and for future street cred, we DID play a basement show with josephine. word. the first creepy aliens song ever written was 'friends' in griffins basement november 04, and the last was 'til the cops come' written in pat garage july 06. and were obviously NOT from wise virgina. it's a joke only those in attendence on the summer 06 tour could possibly understand.
