About CREEK

Creek formed in the Summer of 92' at Southampton. NY. Songwriters Pete Kolb and Pete Keenan began writing new original material and were joined by Drummer/Producer/guitarist- Dave Portocarrero and bass player Mike Cassale. After playing out the material in various clubs in NYC and LI the band decided to record an album. Creek's "Washed Away " was well recieved by radio stations in New York and Vermont. Bookings soon followed. CREEK set out on the road playing Colleges, Bars, & Clubs from Ontario to Key west. Creek began opening for national acts and headlining in the clubs of New York City. After a few years on the road CREEK disbanded and went separate ways. But now in 2008 we are back. Pete Keenan has returned from Costa Rica and joined the Virginia Beach line up of CREEK. The Virginia Beach line up includes Ron Nichols on guitars, Steve Pizer (from Common Ground) on drums, and Dan Springer on Bass.Pete Kolb on vocals and guitars. We are also in the process of recording our second studio album " Cloudy Clearer" and a live album. should be released Winter of 2008. CREEK has made Hampton Roads thier home and will be playing bars and clubs throughout See you out there.
