Cremador - Death Metal - São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil.
A quartet formed in the begginning of 2002, with a death metal
punch and a devastating influences of grind core and noise.
The members, Burg (g), Mauro (g), Come Bala (d) and Playmobil
(b/v) have a history in São Luís..s underground and played with many
bands since the begginning of the 90..s.
Bands like Ânsia de Vômito (death/grind); Revertério (trash);
Comportamento Estranho (hard core), Sânsia (black metal); Mucous
Membrane (grind core), Amnésia (hard core), Lamashta (death/black) and
Tanatron (death).
They wanna make a speed and agressive sound but with his own
identity. Cremador played in many shows with competent and famous
underground bands from Brazil, for example Funeratus (SP); Unearthly
(RJ); Drowned (MG); Subtera (PR); Nervochaos (SP); Torture Squad (SP)
and many others.
T. A. Calibre 1 O Território Afro Calibre 1 surgiu em 98, em São Luís do
Maranhão, com o intuito de mesclar dentre outros estilos, o rap e o
rock.
O rap é a principal faceta da banda, mas, sempre inclinando para
uma sonoridade eletro-acústica com letras chocantes e realistas.
Os temas variam da violência urbana à política nacional e
internacional.
Valem também inserções regionalistas, mas, é claro, sem chegar à beira
do simples oportunismo.
O T.A. é influenciado por bandas como Public Enemy, NWA, The
Roots, Pharcyde, Urban Dance Squad, O Rappa, Ozric Tentacles, Câmbio
Negro (rap), Pavilhão 9, Body Count, dentre várias outras...
Os membros têm suas próprias concepções políticas e não se ligam
em levantar bandeiras alheias.
Defendem suas idéias com veemência e não são meros repetidores
de ideologias, sejam de esquerda, direita ou moderadas.
O T.A.Calibre 1 já se apresentou com grandes nomes como Planet
Hemp, Raimundos, Bagabalô, Racionais MC..s e lançou seu primeiro CD,
intitulado "Balaio", com músicas próprias e três releituras de
clássicos da música brasileira: "Voz do Morro", do sambista Zé Kéti;
"Barracão", de Noel Rosa e "Por Um Triz", da dupla Thaíde & DJ Hum.
