Louisiana Creoles and our culture have existed for over 300 years. Our goal and the goal of our people is to continue our culture and heritage forever. We must
continue to educate the world of our existence and obtain our true place in the history books and in the hearts and minds of all people.

About me:
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am Creole mixed with French, Spanish, African, and Indian heritage. I currently reside in Los Angeles, California with my husband, Eugene...and we enjoy good food, good music, family and friends.
I am very proud of my Creole heritage and because of my grandmother's teachings (who raised me), she taught me to appreciate even more that my ancestry was very important...and that is why, along with my husband, Eugene, I am at this point in my life today...!
My husband and I have a website, Louisiana Heritage Connection (LHC)www.louisianaheritageconnection.com/ and publish a monthly newsletter dedicated to preserving the past, present, and future history of our Louisiana Creole heritage and cultures. They are a connection and a source of personal stories, personal contacts, news, Louisiana history, events, and much more. LHC will also assist in the basics of genealogy information and the basic "how to" begin tracing your ancestral tree.
Our motto is: CREOLE UNITY NOW AND FOREVER!
During my childhood years, the most exciting time of year for me was "Mardi Gras." I always looked forward to the "Indian Battles of Dance." They always met at the corners of Conti and Rocheblade Street, also known as "Conti the Blade." For four years, we lived on "Conti the Blade," and I could sit on our front steps and watch the Indians perform.
Who I'd like to meet: Creoles and others across the nation who have an interest in preserving Louisiana Creole history and culture with an emphasis on French, Spanish, African, Native American, and European descent. It is my goal to maintain a connection to our people world-wide.
The Neville Brothers song, "A Change is Gonna Come" says it all. If one expects changes...then we must do something in our lives to make a difference for all our sisters and brothers world-wide.
May God protect and strenghten the hearts and minds of all of our families and friends in Louisiana as well as the Gulf Coast. Let us lift up our spirits in agreement that the Lord will always provide and see us through
Just wanted to say hello! Hope all is well with you and your family! Thanx for providing a place on the net for us to express our selves. Creole is in me..... The survival of creole heritage means a lot to me. Creole is BEAUTIFUL!
