Molte cose non le capivo, ma ricordo benissimo le pubblicità, gli articoli sui giornali, gli inserti settimanali e quell’assillante domanda sulla bocca di tutti, chi ha ucciso Laura Palmer?
“Twin Peaks” ha rappresentato per la televisione una rivoluzione.
Molto di quello che vediamo oggi deve tutto alla fortuna di questo telefilm, partito in sordina e diventato un inaspettato successo di critica e pubblico.
Quasi tutti hanno una doppia vita, a cominciare da Laura, studentessa modello di giorno, dissoluta e conturbante di notte, pronta ad abbandonarsi ai piaceri della carne e dei vizi. La distinzione tra giorno e notte è molto importante, perché è la notte che tutto cambia, che si scatena il male e che si sviluppano torbide alleanze tra spiriti e umani.
La “Loggia Nera”, dimora degli spiriti malvagi, con quell’arredamento essenziale che è diventato l’emblema stesso del telefilm, ha anch’essa un doppio rappresentato dalla “Loggia Bianca”, dimora di spiriti buoni.Non c’è cosa che rappresenta “Twin Peaks” più dell’immagine della stanza rossa o Loggia Nera.
E’ una cosa strana perché in tutta la serie appare pochissime volte.
La colonna sonora del telefilm, composta da Angelo Badalamenti è un altro gioiellino che non può mancare in una collezione che si rispetti.
