The minimalist style of street-folk produced by multi-instrumentalist Robert Ryan Speers took it's form in 2003. . The self-titled album(2005) includes catchy street-folky tunes with a combination of many genres thrown into the mix while the instrumentals offered an interesting european flavour. Two companion albums were released in 2007 by Robert and Jeffrey Kenneth Speers. These albums were written and recorded, mixed, and produced by the Speers brothers , with original artwork as well. Up to this point the music was inspired by the minimalist sound of Nick Drake along with the compositions of Yann Tiersen (Amelie Soundtrack), and also listed as a favorite in Audrey Tautou's musical tastes. The evolution continues, as a new band is formed with a shifting, dancy, daring, loud, and cruising style. A new name is in the works. But live shows within the vancouver area are likely to take place soon. The new members include Mark Payerl, and Thomas Nugent.
