About me: ".....A Highly Sophisticated, epic, brave & accomplished play"
Amongst the unsettling grounds of a messy abattoir, a local pub and a brothel is the ghostly town referred to as
Crestfall - a place between nightmare & waking.
It is a place, yet no place. It is our world, yet not our world.
It is a savage quarter so dark that all but the tiniest glimmer of light has been extinguished - almost. Here we meet three women:
Olive Day - un-happily married, a serial philanderer
Alison Ellis - mother of a disabled son in desperate need of love
And Tilly Mcquarrie - a drug addicted prostitute being suffocated by envy.
Although all remarkably different the women share an unknowingly common bond in these dark streets, their own private journey of survival in a world driven by the barbaric urges of men.
Through three monologues each of the women in Crestfall trace their steps on the day of a catastrophic event, searching for redemption that seems beyond being found.
