"These are some good old school jams. I hear the best of Black Flag, The Misfits, and maybe a little GBH skanking around in here. The singer is a mid level "regular guy" singer that anyone is going to be comfortable chanting along with. The songs are all quick tempo, under 3 mins., and full of gall and piss. This Cd has movement! It is going to be impossible to sit through this whole thing. I'm standing to type, because I just can't hear something this dynamic without a little bit of faliling about. A lot of these songs bring me back to some older stuff in my dusty old collection, but nothing is a blatant rip-off. I'm feeling a bit nostalgic. While well rehearsed in their roots, this band pulls off some excellent new songs that will nicely take over where the great innovators left off. Cretin Grims really knows how to work it for a maximum adrenaline rush! I'm pumped!""

"Cretin Grims – “Decapitate The Rattle and Shake” - blasts out a collection of blink or you’ll miss it songs about life, love and of course girls. Starting with a classic rip & riff pop hooks, punk & hardcore thrash and whatever else they can shimmy into their sound. This combination of sweet assed punk rock mixed together, creates an unpretentious, addictive winner of an album. The core of the band is a solid foundation of rhythm that is perfectly in sync. While providing corrosive power with the in your face “fuck-off” stance and it’s punk rock that wears both it’s balls & brains on its sleeve tattoos. They let their hearts slip through more than once amid all the hilarious descriptions and putdowns. Generally this is smart, sly music and words coming from people who’re interested in creating their own lives, style and opinions opposed to following the everyday trends. The music and energy never stop and makes you realize that no matter how hard the movie “American Hardcore” tries to say “Punk is dead”, with albums like this being release, it never will be." 4/5
FUCK THIS!!! Please get back together! Get a new drummer and start kickin some fucking ass again!!! I'll start an internet poll if I have to. You guys are way to good not to be writing new songs, playing shows, and touring!
Saturday November 7 at The Vollrath Tavern, Indianapolis
With an assembly that includes members of Ministry (Warner Bros.) and Thrill Kill Kult (Rykodisc), it's obvious project .44 has a firm grasp on the aggro/industrial/tek metal scene. Hailing from the industrial/tek-metal capital of Chicago, where pioneers like Ministry paved the way for recent grads like Static-X, project .44 continues the tradition of Chicago's knack for mixing pulverizing guitar licks with catchy dance beats. It is the forging experience that Louis Svitek (Ministry) provides when laying down the tracks that the band transfers to the stage explicitly and explosively.
Also dance all night to resident DJs Copper Top, Zlaya, Krazy Karoline
