The cricket rumor mill has been creating rich instrumentals for nearly ten years. The early years found the trio playing shows throughout Chicago (sharing bills with The Microphones, Toshack Highway, and future label-mates Zelienople) and recording in their rehearsal space in the Feather Building. With music characterized by intricate guitar lines and rolling bass and drums, the band fleshes out song arrangements with flourishes of additional instrumentation. Songs from early sessions caught the attention of Chicago-based independent label Loose Thread Recordings. Renderings was released by Loose Thread in May 2002. The band immediately began work on the follow-up to Renderings, and in 2003, they enlisted the help of Justin Mayer (Farm Crew, Melochrome, The Lesser Birds of Paradise) to record if only then. Recording took place throughout Chicago, and included a list of notable local musicians, who contributed to the more ambitious song structures. In 2007, the band contributed a track to the independent film "A Lawyer Walks Into a Bar" and are currently recording songs for their next full-length album. Rough mixes from the new album find the band working with a more direct and muscular sound housed within more traditional song structures. The band expects the new album to be released in Fall 2007. The cricket rumor mill's last show of 2007 will be at Chicago's fabled Hideout on June 7th. The band's records are available at www.nokarma.com, itunes, emusic.com, and amazon.com

I am spending a month in Paris with much wine and many days of CRM tunes. It is raining everyday so I get drunk and talk about how much I love Joe's drumming, and then get mad at the world for not putting CRM in movies and every club....Aoife has had it. Love the tunes more than you know. Cheers,B+E
Oh, my fault I must have gave you the wrong link then. The people I use to make make money should be just go here (click here). Well I hope it works for you this time, remember that if the site is not up they are not excepting anyone else. I told you I'm making about $900 a week and it's consistent. Just make sure that you take taxes into consideration, it's a little different than that job your always complaining about.
