Its a long story . . . we are a couple of genuine sociopaths, and have done lots of stuff. We didn't need to form a band for our lives to resemble a crazy movie. It already did, and in the end you get to the point where you think, "Maybe I should get paid for doing this shit !". . . Carole is from Wigan, Grtr Manchester and Dean is from Oxford. Criminal Suicide Ltd. - for those of you who don't know, 'Ltd.' is an abbreviation of 'Limited' meaning a company with limited corporate liability, a very common UK phenomenon - began in 2000, under a different name, one of about five hundred we went through. Recording began in earnest in 2006, when we finally realised that there was no way back to a sane lifestyle for either of us. A couple of gigs followed, one with Astralasia - we were called Dirty Duo for that one - but we mainly concentrated on writing/recording. We ended up with sixty demos which panned the shit out of most labels' actual releases. One of these recordings, a cover of 'Self-Suicide' by GLC which we rapped over us playing the tune of 'Criminal' by Eminem was sent to Rhys & Eggsy of Goldie Lookin Chain, who were hosting the Drive show on XFM South Wales - at this point we were called Goat Lab, until we found another unit was already using the name. They played a bit of the track on air and later put it on the Remixes page of the GLC website www.youknowsit.com, due to our sonic brilliance and chutzpah. Since then we've recorded an album's worth of material in 24-track digital audio. We also finally settled on the name 'Criminal Suicide Ltd.', after the track that we sent to the Drive show on XFM South Wales (plus 'Ltd.' stolen from John Lydon), and are now deciding where to relocate - somewhere where Jethro and Girls Aloud aren't considered cutting-edge and with halfway decent places to play would be a fucking start. . . .
