Advid reader. I read all kinds of books. Our home is filled with books for both myself and my children. I enjoy reading almost anything. The Bible of course, Anne Rice is one of my favorite and so is Stephen King. Flowers in the Attic! One of my all time favorite series. I have also read a ton of Inspirational books like Me and my big fat mouth by Joyce Meyers ect. I just got done reading the Unusual suspect by Stephen Balwid. Awesome book!!!!!

My Nana
My Nana is the strongest most independent woman that I have ever met. She taught me so much as a child and as an adult. She is so strong and was strong in a time where women were not suppose to be strong. She believes in truth and nothing but the truth. The truth shall set you free!
My Grandma
My Grandma who loved life and was passionate about everything she did. She did everything to the fullest and always spoke up and voiced her opinion with more tact than I have ever seen. She inspired me to break free of many things in my life.
Barbara Davidson
Barbara was my Director at the first battered women's program that I worked for. Barbara taught me tact, grace and deep thought with carefully chosen words. She inspired me in so many ways. She showed me what it meant to be a feminist. Not what most people think it is. It just means equality and that we do not think because we are women that we are less than or more than men but that we are equal. She taught me more in the few years we worked together than I learned my enitre life from anywhere. She is such a wonderful woman and great teacher.

The woman who fought for our rights as women to be able to vote. She went through and gave up her entire life to fight so that every woman in the US could vote and have a voice in how our country is run. I admire her dedication and strength and purpose driven life. Without her women would not of been given a voice! She sacraficed so much for it.

I am a 39 year old Christian woman, Formerly Battered Woman, Mother to 9 beautiful children, Wife to one loving man, pro-life feminist Christian! Yes I am that woman. The one who believes in natural childbirth and attachment parenting. I homeschool my kids, I don't vaccinate my kids and yeah my kids are perfectly normal and healthy and very social. Too social sometimes LOL and rarely if ever get sick! I think people who choose c-sections for no reason other than they are scared of labor have lost their minds as its major medical surgery and has serious risk with it to both mom and baby!
Trying to help make the world a better place and walk like Christ did is my first passion. My next passion is helping to eradicate domestic violence. By helping just one woman or one child in that situation it gives meaning to all that I have been through in my life. I believe in peace, diversity in one's life and most of all love. One of the two most greatest things that you can do is love your neighbor as yourself. That means loving everyone. God created us all. He loves us all, every single one of us. Not just the elite few with the right education or right amount of money or the right job or the right color of skin that fit into the right "religious box". He loves us ALL yes from the prostitute to the priest he loves us all and expects us to love each other. I also like to help other people in general. Who I'd like to meet: God loves everyone and my feeling is I want to be more like him and love everyone too! That means accepting people for who they are AND where they are without judgement! Be who you are after all God did make you that way! For me I don't look at the person's outer appearance I look into their heart. That is what counts... not the clothes you wear, where you live, the length/color of your hair, tattooed or not, pierced or not, none of that really matters. What matters is.... where is your heart? Isn't that what Christ did when he walked this earth!!! Did Christ say your hair is to long, to short I can not associate with you? I don't want to be seen with you because you have a piercing! I don't want my kids around you if you have a tattoo? NO Christ loved all.... and so do I... How many people do we pass by because they are not like our own personal view of who we think they should be? How many children do we not allow our children to touch their lives and influence them to become more like a child of christ because they do not look like we think they should? Remember the great commission!
