About me:
Amakura, Mio
My name is Mio and I'm a twin. My twin sister Mayu was born
first, so she's older. What's weird about that is that in olden days, it
was believed that the first twin born was the youngest and the second,
the oldest, allowed the smaller one to be born first. This was believed
and followed until Emperor Meiji proclaimed an edict on December 13,
1874 that ruled that the first born twin was the oldest.
Mayu and I are extremely close. We've got that bond that only twins
have. Still, our roles have seemed to reverse, like before the edict of
1874. When Mayu and I were little girls, we always played at our
S_a_E_ll_C_go_R_ds_E_vi_T///S_l_P_la_O_ge_T.
Sadly, we were running along a
path on a hill and Mayu slipped and fell quite a ways down. She hurt her
leg permanently and it aches at time, she says.
I feel responsible for her...
