About Crimson circle

We're “CRIMSON CIRCLE” a four piece, pop-punk/rock with a dark twist, band from Warsop and have been writing and playing for over 3 years now. The band was started by singer/songwriter Martyn Brown (19) in early 2006 and consists of Dean Hill (20) on drums, Steven Hill (18) on bass and lead guitarist Tom Sweeting (19). In 2007, we played live on the popular KLFM radio station in Kings Lynn and made it to the final stage of the "Festival Too" competition, narrowly missing out on playing alongside 10cc and The Buzzcocks.We also received a great a reception after playing the Astoria 2 , & London/Birmingham Barfly venues.We received a great review in the hugely popular "unsigned magazine" where one of our most known songs "Ending in Tragedy" was featured on the CD.In 2008, in front of a huge crowd we became “Battle of the Bands winners” 2008 at the Warsop carnival and was aslo chosen to play the "Party in the park 2008" live music event in Mansfield in front of 15,000 people!. Our songs lyrics primarily connect with the strains and pressures of life. We've had nothing but positive feedback from listeners so far, and have been compared to an early Green Day. Hope you like what you hear.

Falling Upstairs	Apr 6 2009 2:46 PM hahaha me too, i'm a massive trio fan. did u go to that one in Sheffield at the Octagon in... 06 i think. that was the best ive seen them, played Cop, which is fuckin mint choon. errm we are struggling to get gigs atm tbh mate, no fucker is putting them on. and if people do put them on, we tend to get overlooked haha. playing botb at intake in may sometime tho! you got any coming up? r u playing this sat by any chance? we were sposed to play this charity gig but have had to pull out coz our drummers gotta go up to lake district. i think they mite still be looking for a headliner if u r available and r up 4 it. its at same place played on friday i think. The band are called Kannibal Lemmings if u wanted to get in touch with em. we recommneded you and a few other bands we know, dunno if they got in touch tho!
