Hey guys...I know it's been almost a year since you heard news from the band and I know that it can sometimes be frustrating, but trust me when I say that during the last 1.5 years the band had to go through its toughest period ever since it was formed in 2004. However, we came through some really difficult psychological tests and here we are now in 2009(!) after 5 years of hard -and i'd like to think respectable- work with a new band line-up and a lot of determination for the feature...! I won't waste another minute so let me introduce you to the musicians that are now part of our family. First of all, Filaretos (Fill Bubbles) tok up Al_Jason's position as guitarist and is working hard to improve tha bands over all performance. Kiki (Kitty K) is now "booming" the band's lower frequencies a.k.a bass....cause as we all know the secret to a group's success is a kick-ass rythm section! I'm really proud to have met these people and twice as proud to have the chance to play with them. That's my way of saying thank you...Well, that's all for the time being...but don't worry, you will hear from us soon for more info on stuff relating to Crimson-Fire's news on recordings etc...

Hello Everyone!! Just to let everyone know, the vocal recordings are continuing as planned and, unless something unexpected happens, we'll be finished by Wednesday 30/01.. Then, the mixing part begins... The master tape, will be sent possibly to a couple of guys to start mixing it while similtaneously, we'll be in the studio mixing it ourselves.. So. in the end, we'll have 2-3 mixed tapes and we'll choose the best one... In my belief, the songs we'll be available on our link in a couple of weeks at the most....
THE REQUEST FOR A SOUND AND A LIGHTS ENGINEER FOR OUR LIVE SHOWS IS STILL ON... WE'RE LOOKING FOR PERSONS WHO ARE REALLY INTO OUR MUSIC AND NOT FOR SOME TOP OF THE NOTCH QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS...THE FLAME IS WITHIN A PERSONS SOUL AND NOT NECESSARILY DEPENDING ON HIS/HERS SKILLS.. WE'RE A HEAVY METAL PARTY BAND!!! NOT SOME PROFESSIONAL "DOING-IT-ALL-FOR-THE-MONEY" FREAKS!!!! COME JOIN US...WE'LL HAVE A FUCKING AWESOME TIME AND LOTS OF BEER!!!

Good news everyone!!! First of all, we wish you all to have a great year!! And may the shit that has infested our planet disappear (it's up to us...)!!! -*-
Things may appear static, but we're working really hard... Our drummer, Kostas, is almost ready and soon he'll be able to perform perfectly all of our songs thus, we will be able to focus on some of our new songs (yeah, we've written 3 songs all this time and there are more on the process of composition..However, due to all the difficulties we've been through the past months, we never got the chance to present them live)... So, one of the good news is that we'll definitely play at least one of our new songs on the next concert.. We've heard complaints about it, and trust me, we feel the same way too....-*-
Secondly, we finally covered the debt from last year's recordings and Johny is entering the studio to record the vocals on the 3 completed songs (Born 4 Metal, Burn The Ground and We Go!!)... Then, the plan is to acquire the master tape of the entire session in order to finalize the completed songs and pass them on through a PROMO CD and keep the rest of them for the upcoming album (which will be possibly recorded in a different studio)..-*-
And thirdly, there's a great possibility that a new member will be added in the group as our keyboard player..
WE'RE ALSO LOOKING FOR A SOUND ENGINEER AND A LIGHTS COORDINATOR TO HELP US UPGRADE OUR LIVE SHOWS! WHOEVER IS INTERESTED IS VERY WELCOME..

___________________________________________________**BAND DETAILS**________________________________________________Crimson Fire were created in December 2004. Al Jason (guitarist) has been looking for quite some time for a singer with some great vocal skills... He found Johny B. (singer) performing with his previous band (club Fever if I remember well) where they made their first contact. Having composed 1 song beforehand (the band's epic stand "The Prophet's Gaze") they finally entered the studio with Al Jason's coworker and schoolmate St.Turin (guitarist) and Johny's cousin and coworker Stratos "The Drumgun" Lemis (drummer).
A month later, they played their first concert with some of Greece's elite Heavy and Epic Metal bands such as:Marauder,Airged L'Amh and our buddies Strikelight. As a bassist we found Savvas Glikis where he played with us for a year.
In May 2005 we recorded our first demo, which included the following songs: The Prophet's Gaze, Metal Is Back and Crimson Fire.
We played lots of great concerts and cherished them all but I have to point out the major ones. We were given the honor to open for Canada's Heavy Metal legends ANVIL in 3 cities of Greece (Thessaloniki, Komotini, Megara) and the British gods DEMON in Athens where we received our first reviews in some Greek fanzines and of course Greece's major Metal magazine: Metal Hammer. The reviews were great (for starters at least).
It was in February 2006 where the band's bassist Savvas Glikis had to leave the band due to personal problems and Sverd came in to save the day. His skills as a bassist were outstanding and he fitted in really fast. During all this period we've composed 7 more songs and the band is ready to enter the studio to record its first album.Unfortunately, due to numerous difficulties we're back to step one. We're all trying to gather a respectable amount of money in order to create a 2nd promo album. Once ready, it will be sent to numerous record labels and finally, if all goes well, we might be able to make this album. It's a hard life but we believe in our music and we know we'll make it!!
On the 5th of November 2006 we opened for the American Heavy Metal Killer Band Heir Apparent along with Ragenheart and Dream Weaver. In our opinion this is the greatest live we've played so far!!
