It's amazing how having a child can change you. Suddenly I see what Jesus did on the cross in a whole new light. It wakes in me a new hunger and thirst for the Father and for a relationship with him. I have lived so much of my life in the dark. From alcohol, sex and rape, cutting, depression and eating disorders I have fallen farther than I thought even God could reach. But he did and i thank him for that. And now I am trying to get back on track an become a new creation and leave my old person behind.I am learning to become a better mother, and wife. I pray that i will be a blessing and encouragement to my family and those around me.

Thanks for the comments! I don't have internet at home so I'm slow in responding. :) Hope you had a great mommy's day! I did! I love having a baby; it makes life so much fuller.
