Crimson Tide are a four-piece rock band from Sutherland in the North of Scotland. Their style has been described as ‘switching between soft-gentle acoustics, to brutal, just under control distortion, with haunting vocals’. The band is made up of; Ross Macintosh – Drums, Ewen Mackay – Lead vocals, Gordon Macintosh – Bass guitar & John Mason – Lead guitar/backing vocals. Together since early 2004, Crimson Tide have performed in venues throughout Caithness & Sutherland. Throughout 2005, the band developed their own material, followed up by a 5-track E.P. 2006/2007 saw Crimson Tide travelling further a-field to covering all of Scotland, while developing more material & further finding their style.
