Who am I?
I am many things; woman, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, eclectic, pagan, witch, storyteller, writer, artist, teacher, mentor, student, bi-sexual, activist, consort, Lover, host and the list goes on and on.

You know what? Fuck it. I am a person. PER-SON. Human fucking being who happens to believe in magic and has too much time on her fucking hands. Ignore the dramatic shit if it isn't your thing. And one more little thing; I will never buy the concept of "earning" a place in heaven. Life is not meant to be a leisurely journey to the grave. You should NOT live with the intention of arriving safely at your coffin, with an aged but attractive, well preserved corpse. You should come sliding into your grave, skidding sideways, flask in one hand, weapon in the other, stomach full of steak and candy, covered in scars and your mouth full of the taste of blood. You should hit the edge of the pit in an uncontrolled roll, and fall to your earthy rest screaming at the top of your lungs "SEE YOU NEXT TIME AROUND!!! And I will see you next time.

There is a saying however that we are what we Love.
I am not fond of that word: Love. It is dangerous to Love, to attach yourself to something by your very desire for it, far better to Hate, or perhaps wiser to ignore and live without that Passion. But we cannot. Love is our madness, and we are prone to Love. No one who has truly loved anyone or anything can deny the power She has over us. Love changes us. She Moves us to do things. Love is a Muse and She inspires us to create. Love is infectious, and She bleeds from us, and taints all that we touch, all that we conceive when under her terrible influence.
I do not 'love' Love, I fear her, as should you. Wild, unconstrained, uncontrolled Love is what fills the Zealot's heart. Love is the mother of all dark emotions, most dangerous because she is so well disguised.
Like fire She burns. She consumes everything. Once She is gone you are left with the deepest of scars.
So let us all hope that love never leaves us.
And consider again if we are what we Love... what is that? What are we saying when we claim to be what we desire?
We shall see.

I Love deep conversation at three in the morning.
I Love the copper taste of my own blood on my lips.
I Love symbols scrawled in black ink, on hands, and cheeks, and on the bone of the breast, or down the spine.
I Love the sound of distant screams of ecstasy.
I Love the feel of bleached bones, and silk.
I Love Tarot cards laid out before me.
I Love the sound of dice clattering.
I Love to see Dark Art. I Love the color, the depth, the ability to put onto a medium the intangible thoughts that creep through the recesses of the mind.
I Love exquisite things torn and worn, chipped around the edges, dark, a bit dirty, with some blood streaked fingerprints on the surface.
