Cringe is not a band, but an online resource focusing on local music in the Columbus, Ohio area. Cringe was founded in 1995 by Joel Treadway.

I'm hoping this will help me keep up with shows, news and such over on Cringe in two ways:

Just enter your shows as Band Shows in the MySpace Events system. I'll check Columbus Band Shows when updating the Cringe Live Shows calendar.
If you are in any way involved with local music or just attend shows frequently in the OSU through downtown areas of Columbus, Ohio, feel free to add me as a friend. I may refer to my Bulletins when updating the Cringe Live Shows calendar and Lowdown news ... though sometimes those are just a lot to weed through.

Crime and Punishment	May 21 2009 6:22 AM We are playing at Ruby Tuesday (the bar, not the restaurant chain) on 05/30/09, but its not about us. Sharing a stage with us that night are Times After Dusk and Unisoul--both bands are a must see for anyone who appreciates original music. Its been a while since we've come across bands this good. Crime and Punishment	May 7 2009 4:45 PM Dear Friends: Just wanted to let everyone know that May 9th we are participating in Momma Green Spring Cleanup, a community street cleanup which takes place around Children's Hospital. The actual cleanup is 9am-noon, but refreshments will be served at 8:15. Everyone is welcome to join our group (Crime and Punishment) or you can start your own. As a small token of appreciation, all participants of appropriate age will receive a free admission to one of our upcoming shows.
