| Bio | The CRIPPLE XXX COMEDY TOUR with Joe Fontenot and Lonnie Bruhn: The hilarious but dark and brutally honest performances of two men taking to stages on a country wide tour in venues which truly believe in the artistic value of stand up comedy.
The concept of the tour was brought to life primarily, Lonnie says, because of the growing censorship in the scene from comedy clubs that want comedians to stick to a bland cookie cutter, and non offensive act.
Joes bipolar (never knowing what youre going to get) style meets Lonnies ultimate escape from the bland days of political correctness, overused premises, and nonsensical bull that most comics get by with. What can I say personally about Joe and myself that you all would even give a flying fuck about. We're heaping shit-bags that decided to move from mostly doing comedy in clubs to doing comedy in Theatres where it needs to get back to. How can anyone take this art seriously if we whore it out to one night rooms across America that listen to us perform while playing 8-ball and heckling Gedure done after everyone one of our punch lines.
Aside from that, when we're not touring, we're still shit-bags, we just have a lot of love and respect for the craft and the fans that do too.
Who I'd like to meet:
We'd like to meet anyone that Has the balls to laugh at something funny because it was funny, and not analyze it and breaking a damn joke into a stupid category, like clean, dirty, politically incorrect, or any other stupid-ass lable. If it's funny, it's funny, so get over it and laugh
Also anyone that is a fan of our movement and the show we want to bring you.

After coming in as a finalist in two comedy competitions in his first year, Joe Fontenot hit the road extensively unleashing his bipolar style of comedy. Thought of as a comic that just cant be labeled, you just dont know what Joe will bring to the stage from night to night. Whether its "angry-in-your-face" wild, or crazy. one thing is for certain, its always consistent and intensely funny. It's for this very reason that Joe is being touted as one of the strongest up-and-coming comedians in the northwest:
