Fautori di un aggressivo thrash/Power metal, i Crisalide si sono formati nel'94 in piena epoca death metal. Hanno costruito subito un repertorio originale ed una delle prime composizioni è stata inclusa immediatamente nel cd Compilation "Area Sismica vol.1", il guitar player Dave "Ian" Valle ex X-Hero e la voce di Giuliano Zippo, sono bastati a garanzia di qualità. Infatti "Fire your raze" registrata in modo impeccabile con un Yamaha 8 piste in un cascinale alla periferia di Vicenza, nonostante tutto ricevono notevoli consensi dalla critica nazionale entusiasmando il gruppo che in poco tempo si chiudera' in studio di registrazione e pubblichera' la demo d'esordio (ben registrata ed ottimamente confezionata) comprensiva di sei brani. I magazines italiani tributano ai Crisalide una affinità spaventosa con i Sepultura grazie alla Voce Cavalleresca di Giuliano Zippo Singer carismatico che grazie alla sua voce graffiante, ma sempre cosi' melodica crea un' affinita' canora con il mitico Max Cavalera dei Sepultura ora Soul Fly, da citare gli articoli di, Metal Shock: i Crisalide sono i Sepultura Nazionali, grazie alla voce Cavalleresca di Giuliano Zippo.
