As for others, if it's a reality show, I like it! Used to call them guilty pleasures, but recently I've quit apologizing for my low brow TV viewing habits. | | Books | Anything written by my friends (or me): Beth Amos, Anne Frasier, David Feldman, Debbie Puente, Cyn Mobley, Gloria Rosenthal, Doug Clegg, et al.
Plus I love humorous mysteries-- Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovich, Jerrilyn Farmer, Sara Paretsky, JD Robb. Plus thrillers by Jonathan Kellerman, Faye Kellerman, Linda Fairstein, Dean Koontz, and others...stuff that gets the adrenaline flowing.
Also am learning Spanish, so am reading textbooks as well.
Besides the above: To Kill a Mockingbird; Little Women; Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy; Pride and Prejudice; all the Harry Potter books; more later... | | Heroes | Alive or dead? Then...My parents (Eddie and Elaine), my sibs (Jan, John, Jane, Joe, Jay, Jill, Jeff, and Jim), and my kids (Rob and Jill). Seriously. I could tell you why with each of my family members, but won't. :) Famous and not-so-famous heroes who are not relatives: Clara Barton, Mother Theresa, Mae West, Three Stooges, anyone connected with Doctors Without Borders, Bill Gates, Dr. Tom Dooley, Dick Chudnow, Mme. Ngai, Steven Spielberg, Fr. Thomas Keating, Betty Tisdale, and more to be added later... |
