Too many to ever attempt to mention in one sentence, a paragraph or a multi-paged tribute. The strongest would have to be Duke Ellington, Louie Armstrong, Miles Davis, John Coltraneand Theolonius Monk from Jazz. Jimi Hendrix, Prince and Kurt Kobain from Rock. Tupac, Nas, Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, Common, and Eminem from Hip-Hop. Finally, rounding out the genres would have to be Go-Go, including groups like BYB, The Uncalled 4 Experience, CCB, Rare Essence, Trouble Funk and of course Chuck Brown.

Cris Jackson is currently a resident of Silver Spring, MD. He is a musician who plays various genres of music, but specializes in Jazz, Hip-Hop and Go-Go. In 2007 he released "Fallout: Project For a New American Century" and went on to sell a substantial amount of music via online stores such as iTunes, Amazon, and Rhapsody. If you are interested in hearing more about "Fallout" please search "Cris Jackson" in iTunes or Amazon for download.
Currently, Cris Jackson is at work with his second release '1984.' To be released late 2008 or early 2009 it will be the first Go-Go release to be marketed nationally and should initially be available for free download. The timing of the release is meant to cast artistic and political relevance to a concept album that has been crafted to promote such thinking. '1984' though carrying elements of Hip-Hop will represent a large departure from contemporary Hip-Hop and it is hoped that it will change the face of popular music.
Other than that, thank you for reading through Cris Jackson's intro. If you would like to learn more about Cris Jackson, his music, and his life, please feel free to message him via myspace. He responds regularly to notes and comments. Also be sure to drop by his web site at www.cris-jackson.com once it reopens. For now it is in the process of reconstruction but should be up again soon. Again, many thanks for your support.
