    Come and join us for Andover's only annual music festival!! an all out rock-extravaganza celebrating the life and times of Crispy, the UK Air Guitar Champion!

    Featuring some of the freshest live and acoustic acts in the South!!

    The British air guitar champion was killed in a horrific road accident in South Africa. Christopher Vearncombe, 25, of Andover, Hants, died when he was hit by a car in Durban, South Africa. He won the UK Air Guitar Championship in 2005 and was killed four days before he was due to defend his crown. His many friends celebrate the anniversary of his death, with an annual charity concert, Crispystock!

    Crispystock! aims to support and encourage the local music scene whilst promoting road safety and awareness. All Proceeds go to Headway, a charity that helps the survivors of brain injury lead their day to day lives.

About me:

Greetings and Salutations. Crispy here!. I am the official 2005 UK Air Guitar Champion... ahh the fame the glory the money.... I have always strummed the invisible strings even though I have often been taken for a lunatic for indulging in this passion. I won the Air Guitar competition at Reading Festival in 2005 and then went on to compete in the UK Championships...the rest as they say is history. After a few print inches, a five second flash on MTV (trl) and a slot on my local Meridian news... my fifteen minutes of fame was complete. Amanda Griffiths who is doing her PHD on Air Guitar.. also made a documentary.. which I have yet to see. Unfortunately I may not be able to defend my crown this year as I am in darkest South Africa at the mo with the Donwah... checking out the wildlife you know??     Many thanks from all of Harris'n'Ford for a great night. It was a bit of a shame about our late drummer but we won't talk about the politics of being shifted in the order. It was an honour to play tribute to a man who had left us with some good memories. Hopefully see ya next year.
