I was raised in Northwest Indiana, “The Region” as it’s called is an industrial area in Chicagoland, rich in diversity, which is evidenced in the music that beats in the heart of it. It’s an area of hard working factory/mill/refinery people.
I started writing songs 20 years ago. Rhythm is instilled in me from all the wonderful genres of music that surrounded my growing years.
In 1995, I came to Nashville for the first time; I was a bit intimidated by the incredible singer songwriters. Although I love all the wonderful songs I’ve co-written, God has been guiding me to write more all on my own, me, the little girl who no one would let sing. Thank you Jesus!
I’m not sure how my story ends. Everyday is a new adventure, not knowing what’s going to happen next. Lives have changed in a day in this town.
I’ve co-written most of my songs. Many of my songs are independently released, including "This Side of the Mississippi" on a compilation CD circulating the UK with Perry Danos the artist, “Queen of My Castle” that I also co-wrote with Zeke Costo and Shantel Adams, on the “Best of the Fest” compilation CD, with Shantel as the artist. On the Kids, Critters and Country CDs/Allies Place 4 CD collection, "Teddy Bear", Peek A Boo Mr. Man In The Moon", "Teddy n Me", "Playin' Outside", "Oh I Wish", "Reindeer On The Roof", "Your Life Is Your Song" and "Sleepy Lullaby" now available on digital download at Walmart.com.
