EN EL 2001 GRABA SU 1ER DISCO COMO SOLISTA "HORMIGAS URBANAS", SE PRESENTA EN "EXTRA JOVENES"(CHV), TOCANDO ESE TEMA "H.U.", EN ESE PERIODO VIVE EN SANTIAGO, Y TOCA EN LA AVDA. SUECIA EN EL "CONFESIONARIO"Y "ENTRE DIOSAS", PARA LUEGO QUEDARSE POR UN LARGO TIEMPO TOCANDO EN "CAYO HUESO".
VUELVE A ANTOFAGASTA Y EN EL 2003 GRABA SU 2DO. DISCO SOLISTA "ESCALOFRIOS DEL ALMA", ESE MISMO AÑO CONOCE A UNOS JOVENES MUSICOS (ANDRES-LARRY Y NICO), Y CREA EL GRUPO "LA HERENCIA", TOCANDO GRAN PARTE DEL REPERTORIO DE SU 1ERA. BANDA.
EN EL 2005 JUNTO CON EL BATERISTA ANDRES (LA HERENCIA), SE JUNTAN CON "PATO BRAVO" Y CREAN LA BANDA "PATO NEGRO", QUE ES LA ACTUAL BANDA DE CRISTIAN DIAZ (www.myspace.com/patoblack).

por cierto te vi tocando solo en el oveja y me gusto mucho la fuerza con que tocaste la guitarra, creo que es importante meter más temas tuyos...más musas...en fin...saludos y espero que sigan por la senda de creadores que creo que es genial.

Y uno mientras sigue tirado en las calles soportando el peso de la lluvia, viendo como el viento arrastra las hojas otoñales, como se desborda la fuente del parque y los cartones se empapan y mojan mis barbas... viendo, como nadie me mira, sin un puto café con el que calentar el estómago para que no se me congelen las venas en el sueño, la niña perdida... la luna se refleja en la carretera y las alcantarillas beben atragantadas, el cielo de plata me mira triste, caen las cenizas del edificio en llamas sobre mi canenta alma, no oigo ni a la gente ni a los bomberos, solo a la lluvia chocando contra mi desvencijada espalda... y aquí estamos, afrontando la vida como puedo, la realidad, las calles...
