Cristobal is Christophe Katrib (vocals, guitars, percussions, chants, glockenspiel, strange sounds, whatever is at hand...)

As for Lolychryst, it is a project that lasted about a year around 1996. It consisted of Christophe (music, lyrics, guitars, some vocals) and Joanna Andraos (vocals, some lyrics). The set-up was a bedroom, a 4-track tape recorder, 2 microphones, and single-takes no matter what. The song "River Red" is one of the fruits of that collaboration.
Cristobal is Christophe.
Christophe was born in France, and grew up in Jeddah and Beirut.
His background is Film and Cinema Studies, but as far as he can remember, he has been composing lyrics and songs, writing poetry, and taking pictures, more or less on a personal level.
After pursuing his passion for photography & art more openly through a few exhibitions and publications, it is now time for music and song.
"Cristobal" is the next step in the quest: Music must now step into the light!
