Hello and welcome. This is the official MySpace page for Criticdoctor.com.
Critic Doctor (Herb Kane) is a self-taught Criticologist
with an emphasis in Film Art Review Thereapy (FART). Though
he does not have a BS in film studies, Critic Doctor has a natural
ability to extract BS from film reviews by giving movie critics
"a taste of their own medicine." Past clients
include Roger Ebert (Chicago Sun-Times), Leonard Maltin (leonardmaltin.com),
Mick La Salle (San Francisco Chronicle), Chris Gore (filmthreat.com)
and others.
Critic Doctor has been interviewed by USA Today, Tech-TV,
and KTLA-TV (Los Angeles, CA) and other media. Criticdoctor.com
was picked as a Hot Site by USA Today and a Top
100 Site in Fade In Magazine.
Kane's practice has been conducted on the worldwide web since
1998 and he is compiling a book called Critic Doctor: Giving
Movie Critics A Taste Of Their Own Medicine, VOL. I. If you
would like to interview Critic Doctor or carry his weekly Critic
Doctor column in your publication, please send your inquiry to
press @ citicdoctor.com or send a message through MySpace.

MISSION STATEMENT |
|
"The Critic
Doctor's mission is to examine movie critics; to dissect the
positive and negative elements in any given work; to bring forth
an interesting perspective on movies and to accurately rate the
entertainment value thereof." |
Dear Readers - Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to
your friend request and getting to know you. I enjoy my work as
Critic Doctor because I love the fun of the debate when discussing
movies. Hope you enjoy my rants and raves about movies and film
critics. If there is a film review you would like me to examine,
please don't hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to consider
it. That's it for now. Have fun at the movies!
Critic Doctor is out. See ya!
