My life has been an interesting journey thus far - not always the happiest events, but I keep on learning, and things seem to keep improving so I can't complain. During the course of my (relatively) short life I have lived many places, worked many jobs, indeed, been many different people, and I am coming to see that, as wiser ones than me have said, it is the journey that matters and not the destination. All we really have, ultimately, is this one single moment, so why not enjoy it?

My greatest passion, besides my husband and family, is my love and concern for non-human animals. This would truly be a sad world if humans were the only life-form around. The diversity of our world is one of our greatest gifts, and should be treasured and protected. As Gandhi once said: "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
I would further add that it is their treatment of any being weaker, less-advantaged, or less aware than themselves, human or non-human, that is the true measure of the greatness of a society, a corporation, or an individual. All forms of life are important and all are interconnected. What we do to one ultimately affects us all.
Here is a quick glimpse of moments in my life, and the wonderful beings, both human and non-human, who've shared them:
