You are a Beautiful Woman!!!”
Did you know that it's Beautiful Women Month? Well, it is and that means you!!!
I'm supposed to send this to FIVE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN, and you are one of them!!!
Below is a wonderful poem Audrey Hepburn wrote when asked to share her "beauty tips?" It was read at her funeral years later.

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness...For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.

For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone... People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

If you share this with another woman, something good will happen. You will boost another woman's self esteem, and she will know that you care about her.

It's BEAUTIFUL Women Month
Hugs,
Squeeeeeze!!!
You've been given a hug.

I WANT ONE BACK!
if u get back 3 ur cute,
6 ur beautiful,
9 ur sexi.

Heya, just dropping by to say hello and I miss talking to you - hope you are well :)

Been and come back from San Fran, a very cool city - it's so funny how some things are completely opposite to ours like the light switches and door locks!

You were going there too weren't you? How did your trip go?

Hey Chica, how's the week been treating you so far? I'm good thanks :)

I miss those days too - I loved the 90's and all the great bands then (it was a great time to be a teenager) :)

The stories aren't where I thought they were so will keep looking, but I did find a stupid parody a friend and I did of More Than Words! Will message you shortly :)

I dunno, I've always loved reading and read alot - inherited it from my family I guess :) How about yourself? Heehee, I wasn't that great at maths either, but I did quite well if I had a really good teacher!

Nah, not that much of a writer really - but I did have fun writing some stories in English class once inspiration hit and do like to write poetry now and again :) Cool, do you write now? What did you like to write about? I'd love to see some of your stuff :)

Yum, your cocktail food sounds good and your peach sorbet is making me hungry!

Chicken stiryfry or trying to recreate stuff I've had at restaurants like chicken with mango and coconut cream risotto with the help of recipes on the internet is my favourite savoury dish otherwise I love trying out different recipes I spot in magazines like those bunny cakes, stained glass window cookies (cookies with melted boiled sweets in the centre)... How about yourself?

Cool, have a fabulous time in SF! It's a shame your friends don't like the City, hope you get to spend some time there :)

Yup, I've travelled around NZ (mainly the North Is and top of the South) and only been to Australia and Norfolk Island thus far. The South Is is the most beautiful :) What I love about NZ is you'll find the most beautiful spots hidden in the most unlikely places - there's a beach I went to somewhere near Waiuku I think where the water looked like a lake and the surrounding hills were mirrored in it - beautiful :) How about you? Have your travelled to many countries?

That's a point, I think I've got

Ooh, what a good idea - I'll have to try out your version - I love nutmeg! (especially on custard!!) Glad you liked them, thanks :) Heehee, the things I come up with when I'm feeling silly and creative - should send you some of the stories I wrote to make my friends laugh in an attempt to try and get inspired for something decent and ended up handing in for English class about my favourite band at the time, Extreme...

It may have been luck rather than how adventurous.. Absolutely, the next one may be the charm :) Best of luck!

Cool, sounds like fun catering for small parties - what were your specialties?

Sounds good - I'd love to go to the states one day (especially San Francisco!)

Yep, they are - they're such prolific musicians and entertainers - the two videos on my page on the left side with my favourite bands are theirs.

Carla Kihlstedt's many wonderful projects are worth checking out too - www.kihlstedt.net

Have a great night!

Hey Chica, thanks for the comments :)

How did the recipe go? Hope it tasted ok - I was a jokey teenager the last time I made it, but if memory serves they tasted quite nice like spicy muffins :)

Cool, did you watch the concert? Sounds like your public station shows great stuff!

Evening :)

I did a catering course in high school - it was my favourite class that year ,though I didn't do anything with the certificate I earnt. What kind of catering did you do? What kind of stuff do you love to cook?

Ah, that’s a point, I’ve never stopped to think what milo tastes like in comparison to other drinks (or however it tastes itself)! It’s just something I’ve grown up with and it’s not as sweet as other hot chocolate drinks. It was funny reading about it on wikipedia and bizarre about other countries palates and how each country is marketed indeed. Tee hee, we often hear or read articles about how gross other countries think vegemite is! We do have some American products here like Hersheys and oreo cookies :)

Cool, I'll send you the recipe - I only made them once like 11 years ago, must try them out again!

How many recipes did you have to create for the cooking contest? What kind of dishes? Sounds like it was a tough one.

Yoghurt looks better with an h doesn't it? :) Yup, berry crumble is as goood as it sounds - it amazes me each time I eat it how much it gives the illusion of eating one!

Yoghurt with chocolate pieces?! I'm jealous! Funnily enough it's our major yoghurt companies that are coming up with the cool flavours - wish they'd do the same with the icecream, though we do have some cool ones like this one with a chocolate cake layer, chocolate icecream and chocolate mousse!

America sounds like heaven on earth for yoghurt and icecream flavours!! You're making me hungry with this mango sorbet!

Haven't been to any more shows in a long time, but I've discovered lots of great bands - mainly connected to the prolific artists in Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - they're all classically trained and have a plethora of different projects they're involved with from folk to jazz to chamber type music to crazy cabaret punk rock type stuff.

How about yourself? What have you been

Thanks for your comment, will get back to you shortly :)

Danke, glad to "see you" again too, I’ve missed you :)

You’re going to have so much fun with that icecream maker! Inventing crazy new recipes and combinations is super fun – once in a catering course we had to make up a new recipe and after having no inspiration whatsoever, just decided to throw together milo, coffee, tea, cinnamon, a NZ strawberry ovaltine equivalent, flour, baking soda, milk and whatnot and it turned out like yummy spicy muffins!

Do you like yoghurt? Do you have unusual flavours in the states? We have a plethora of wacky flavours like berry crumble and apricot danish which taste like and give the illusion of eating the real thing - weird!

Sorry to hear your house didn’t work out as planned – will you go back to renting or buy another one in a different area?

Your book swap meetings sound lots of fun and a great way to discover new books you’d never think to read – I’ve discovered the odd gem by picking up random titles that catch my eye. How often do you meet?

Have a fabulous weekend :)

Cherry blossum icecream? You have the best flavours over there and have me intrigued!

Thanks so much for the comments, I apologise for the delay in getting back to you - needed to be away from myspace for a while.

Hope things are well with you, will talk to you again tomorrow - must get to bed!

The reading's back on - I've got around 10 books from the library and trying to read like 3 at teh same time!!

What are you reading at the moment?
