I'm a one-man-band. I'm NOT a DJ. I do that "looping" thing. I make my songs (live & in the studio) by sampling something (i.e. my acoustic guitar), then "LOOP" layer after layer of instrumentation live and in front of you (i.e. harmonica, hand drums, keyboard, even vocals). Thus weaving a musical fabric that makes your booty shake uncontrollably (disclaimer: cronkite satellite is not responsible for uncontrollable booty shaking). Sometimes I wonder if cronkite satellite is me or the BOSS RC-50 LOOP STATION I use to create all these shenanigans??? I consider my music to be 'acoustic/techno,' because I believe in a perfect balance between good/evil, life/death, male/female, up/down, right/wrong, etc... One cannot exist without the other. My shows are high energy and full of surprises. I even sound great without beer (but there IS a 2 drink minimum). I've been steadily performing gigs around America, The Netherlands (Amsterdam) and in the Middle East (Qatar). cronkite satellite's current album, "NEW WORLD RECORD" was written while traveling the globe in search of rhythm and inspiration. Long story short; I'm just a guy who writes, records, and performs his unique blend of music, as often as he can. He loves/lives it and doesn't care if he becomes famous. He just wants to make his music. Can you dig it? •

I had planned on attending this event. But I worked 11 hours and when I got home I couldn't move or motivate myself to do ANYTHING.
