Henry Darrow McComas

Henry McComas, raised in Anchorage, Alaska was first exposed to the techniques and art of filmmaking in junior high and by high school was sharing his skills with others through teaching and at the same time was creating industry standard shorts. Henry later enrolled in programs at King career center and the highly acclaimed New York film academy. After completing video and film school Henry moved to Seattle to continue his studies at the Art Institute of Seattle eventually leading to the creation of his brainchild, Crooked Lake Productions. His past work includes directing several commercials, short films and music videos but features will always be his passion. Henry has always had a knack for telling stories and reflecting life’s emotions in an artistic manner.
Colin McLoughlin

Colin McLoughlin has been in Seattle’s film and video world since 2003. He has worked on various feature and short films, music videos, internet and broadcast commercials, TV shows, local news, and concert DVDs, among other things. He spent 2 years making promotional and in-game videos for Xbox 360, and a few months as a staff editor and motion graphics artist at Victory Studios. He has been working with Henry McComas and Crooked Lake Productions since its inception.

Crooked Lake Productions started officially January of 2006 with a legal video gig. Since then we have produced commercials, documentaries and have shot many live performances, music videos, promos and short films. Crooked Lake recently finished the short film, “Emerald City,” which is the brainchild of some of Crooked Lake’s most talented members. The film has been to the United Kingdom to screen at the largest film festival in the UK Raindance and traveled to France to be featured in the Short Film Corner in Cannes. “Emerald City” has been officially selected to some of the most credited film festivals including The Iñigo Film Festival in Sydney, Australia and Swansea Bay in Wales. “Emerald City” is currently touring and will be coming to a town near you.
